12月21日、NHK Worldで森本さんの取り組みが紹介されます

　1２月２１日（土）、ＮＨＫの海外向け英語放送「NHK World」で、森本さんの取り組みが紹介されます。
　「Asian Beauty - Reviving Khmer Ikat Silk A Japanese man's Quest」と題した、４５分間の特別番組です。放送は、日本時間の午前９：１０から、以降４時間ごとに６回放送されます。
　この番組は、同日に限り「NHK World」のＷｅｂサイト上でライブストリーミング放送されます。
　また、Android OSを搭載したスマートフォンでも視聴できます。国内のケーブルテレビ局を通じての「ＮＨＫワールドＴＶ」で視聴できる場合もあります。

Cambodia's savage civil war almost wiped out traditional Khmer ikat silk weaving. One person who helped the craft survive is Kikuo Morimoto, a former kimono dyeing specialist from Kyoto. Morimoto set up a studio in the country in 1996 to revive local dyeing and weaving techniques. He also replanted trees in forests devastated by the war to produce silk and natural dyes. This program brings you up close to Morimoto's passion and beautiful textiles.
